SRI LANKA'S International Gem and Jewellery Trade Fair "The Colombo Show". held annually in Colombo since 1991, Facets Sri Lanka made an exciting new beginning in September 2005 when the show moved to a smart new venue, the BMICH Exhibition and Convention Centre in Colombo. The Novi Sad Fair is ending this season of fair events with the therteenth International Exhibition of Jewellery, Watches and Optics "SJAJ". By the end of the year, two sales fairs of consumer goods will have been organised - the Winter Sales and the New Year Sales Fair
One hundred goldsmiths, watchmakers and opticians, offering products from Yugoslavia, Bangladesh, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Germany, the USA, Slovenia, Switzerland, Great Britain, Thailand are participating in the 13th International Exhibition of Jewellery, Watches and Optics SJAJ, held from 14th to 17th November in the extension of Hall 1 and in Hall 1 of the Novi Sad Fair.

Exhibition covers: gold and silver jewellery, precious and semi-precious stones, zircons and synthetic stones, equipment and tools for jewellery, watch making and optics, jewellers' furnaces, elements for jewellery arrangements, tills, safety deposit boxes, packaging for jewels, alarm devices and systems, watches, frames for spectacles, sunglasses, prescription glasses, contact lenses, contact lens solution, cases for spectacles, ophthalmologic surgery material...
JEWELLERY
Among Yugoslav exhibitors there are: ZLATARA MAJDANPEK, The Union of the Association of Jewellers in Serbia and the Jewellers' Chamber from Cologne, ZLATARA JANKOVIĆ - Novi Sad, Jewelleries ZLATKO, JOKIĆ and TOMIĆ - Belgrade, YUGOSLAV GEMMOLOGY SOCIETY - Belgrade, MABOSA - Vrnjačka Banja...
Machine polished zircons and synthetic stones will be presented by the French DELLOZ INDUSTRIE LAPIDARIE; while jewellery will be displayed by DIADEMA PREZIOSI DI SCRINCO ALBERTO - Italy, DOMIKA ALOJZ, Jewellery KRIŽEK and Jewellery RODIC from Croatia…
The visitors will have an opportunity to browse a collection of precious and semi-precious stones by the Yugoslav Gemmology Society, or to purchase, repair or clean, with a special fair discount, their valuable possessions at the stand of ZLATARA MAJDANPEK.

BOMAR and PINTTILA, S & L, BORISIANA, IDENTICO - EUROPEAN SYSTEM - Novi Sad, BPM - Belgrade, MABOSA - Vrnjačke Banje... are offering top quality models of watches. The exhibits cover watches by renowned international manufacturers - the Swiss LONGINES, ZENITH, MOVADO, OMEGA, FORTIS, ETERNA, IWC, BREITLING, DOXA, BREITLING; Japanese CASIO, CITIZEN, NOBLIA, SEIKO, PULSAR, ADEC, German HERMLE, ESPRIT TIMESWEAR, HUGER; American FOSSIL, DIESEL, ROBERTO CAVALLI, DONNA KARAN; Italian SECTOR, French PIERRE LANNIER, jewellery and figures from Liechtenstein SWAROVSKI...

The foreign exhibitors from Bangladesh are displaying clocks, desk-clocks and watches and jewellery.
OPTICS
Opticians, both Yugoslav and foreign ones, are offering spectacles, frames, special prescription glasses, lenses, contact lens solutions, accessories for spectacles, optician tools and equipment, as well as machines for polishing of spectacles.

A committee of experts will be assessing the quality of jewellery products and present the recognition of the Novi Sad Fair to the most successful participants. The Award eCeremony will be held on Saturday, 16th November at 1.30 p.m. at the Business Centre of the Novi Sad Fair.

The Exhibition of Jewellery, Watches, Optics and Cosmetics has awed the general public since founded, and in the recent years it has given the opportunity to exhibitors to attractively pre­sent their products both at their stands and at the Business Centre of the Novi Sad Fair - in forms of fashion shows and other happenings.
